These Cathedrals of Forstura reach to the sky with their tall spires and vaulted ceilings. Dotting the landscape of the Kingdom of Benselot, some can also be found in foreign lands who have significant numbers of the Wind Goddess’ worshipers. The greatest of the foreign Windorums is the Temple in Tetricala which sits on a high hill in the west of the city near the Tower of Farsight.

The Windorums of the Golden Age are massive buildings with hosts of spires reaching to the sky and vaulted halls filled with light from their large windows.

The architectural advancements of this era of the Empire of Anaxaneas have been lost though, so when one of these Great Windorums is damaged, the repairs are of an inferior quality.

Some of the most ancient Windorums still standing are great spires of stone shaped by magic to look like their wooden counterparts. Sadly, over the years, war and pogroms burned all the original wooden Windorums though.

Inside these spires a winding circular staircase leads to the top. Here, the Observatory platform is used to watch and record the weather and astronomical occurrences.

The insides of Windorums are decorated with images of the myths and histories of Benselot and Forstura. Often they display exquisite statuary and frescoes unmatched by any other temples of the Dektheoi even upon the sacred mount of Isulstad, the Ordektheon.
