Stretching from the Isbrytr Bay in the west to Elak’ris in the east the haunted forest of Mok Tra is thought to have taken in some of the evil from the sinister region of Elak’karum where spirits of the restless dead from some ancient battle still linger.

Mok Tra is a wild place of mostly fur, pine, and spruce, with many kinds of flowers and berries that are nearly all poisonous. A thick fog covers the inner region of the forest, making navigation nearly impossible. Being very difficult to travel through, with few trails and none thought of as safe, this dense forest is avoided by most.

From Fornmborg fortress in the south to Elak’karum in the north, the Lords of Mok cultivate and protect their borderland. But the inhabitants of the few villages and hamlets of Elak’ris that lie on the edge of the Mok Tra fear going deep into the woods and content themselves to foraging and collecting timber from its eastern edge.

Rumors abound of a great forest protector lurking within, who or what this creature is none know or wish to anger…
